Graduating seniors of NRCSA member schools are eligible to apply.January 25 Gary Fisher Fine Arts ScholarshipNRCSA created this scholarship for students who excel in fine arts and are planning to major in fine arts in college. Graduating seniors of NRCSA member schools are eligible to apply.January 29 Elk's Memorial ScholarshipApplicants must be a 2019 graduate of a high school served by Scottsbluff Elk's Lodge #1367.Students must be planning to attend WNCC and be a graduate of a high school served by Scottsbluff Elk's Lodge #1367.Nebraska high school seniors who intend to enter a broadcast related field of study should apply. Interest in broadcast engineering, journalism, on-air personality, sales and marketing, and other broadcasting careers will be considered.February 1 Susan Thompson Buffett ScholarshipApplicant must be a resident of Nebraska, achieve a 2.5 GPA in high school, must be a first-time college freshman, and attending a public college in Nebraska.February 1 Elks Legacy ScholarshipThis scholarship is open to any child, grandchild, step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward of a living, paid up, member of any Elks lodge in the country who joined before April 1, 2016February 4 Nebraska Press Association Scholarship2019 Nebraska high school graduates that are interested in news, editorial, photography, circulation, production or advertising careers may apply.February 15 Daughters of the Revolution ScholarshipThere are two membership-based scholarships (Lillian and Arthur Dunn and Margaret Howard Hamilton) that NSDAR offers. All other scholarships are open to all US citizens who qualify based on the requirements of each scholarship.Received by February 22 Niobrara Electric ScholarshipGraduating high school seniors, college students, and nontraditional students of Niobrara Electric members may apply.Nebraska residents attending school in Nebraska that are interested in a career in the poultry industry should apply.Students pursuing a career in education may apply. They must also graduate from a high school whose administrator is a paid member of WNA.March 15 Westco ScholarshipStudents planning to attend college or trade school in the Fall of 2019 to pursue an education in the field of agriculture should apply.Females involved in 4-H, FCCLA, or FFA, check here for other scholarship requirements.March 31 Booth-Englert Families' ScholarshipApplicant must: 9a) be a current high school senior or former graduate (from 2015 to current) of any accredited high school in the following counties in the State of Nebraska: Cheyenne, Deuel,Garden, Sheridan, Dawes, Box Butte, Morrill, Sioux, Scotts Bluff, Banner, and Kimball; 9b) demonstrate substantial need; and (c) attend an accredited public or private post-secondary institution (university, community college, or trade school) in the 2019-2020 school year.Students from high schools in Panhandle Counties (Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, or Sioux) planning to attend the University of Nebraska –Lincoln the fall after their graduation will be eligible for consideration/Scholarship applicants must be a resident of Nebraska and a U.S. citizen. Applicants will be evaluated by a written essay, GPA and class rank, ACT or SAT scores, honors received, school or volunteer activities, employment, demonstrated leadership and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor. Mayflower ancestry is NOT a requirement.Scholarships to incoming students and upper-class majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economicsThe University of Nebraska Lincoln, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Scholarship- This is for students majoring in agribusiness or agricultural economicsApplicants must enroll in a construction related program, including building construction technology, diesel technology, land surveying, civil engineering technology, welding technology, heavy equipment operator technician, construction and building science.The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post-secondary institution.June 19 BigSun ScholarshipAll student-athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate.Applicants must be high school seniors graduating from a Nebraska high school intending to study a vocational program after high school graduation.
