Golfers improve at Lusk

The Sioux County Warriors placed ninth on the links in Chadron April 30.
The Warriors struggled on the day, carding a 540 as a team. Scottsbluff won the meet with a 342. Baxter Reece led Sioux County with a 113 for 37 th overall. Jhett Skavdahl and Taylor Kreman finished 42 and 43 with scores of 131 and 134. Jose Gutierrez shot 162 on the day for 45 th .
The Warriors broke 500 in Lusk May 1, reporting a team score of 498. Reece led the team, carding a 111. Skavdahl followed with a 122, with Kreman, who turned in a 126, right behind him. Guteirrez rounded out the card with a 139. The team finished seventh overall.
The results from the Alliance meet April 24 were not available.
